I had uploaded a new grubconf release and mailed you, not sure if it
got to you. Just in case, here it is again:

Bellow is the changelog

grubconf (0.5.1-2) unstable; urgency=3Dlow

* debian/control: added
DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS :=3D --enable-splashimage
which fixes package build for users who do not have grub installed
onto their HD as a boot loader.
