Comments/Problems:

Install worked great; the raid-1 configuration was a snap :) The only
problem I ran into was that  my / was mounted as the 2nd partition, and
grub-installer installed grub using (hd0,0) as the boot partition.
manually changing that to (hd0,1) made everything work again.
