Bug#316878: "update-grub" generates different kernel options for normal and single boot mode

hi,
Now update-grub will add $altoptions with $kopt in /boot/grub/menu.lst
for single mode boot parameters. Often different options for normal
and single mode are more convinient. Can update-grub achieve this in the
future?  Thanks!
