Request for help:

So I want to release a 1.1 grub-splashimages but have a few questions:

1. currently images are in /boot/grub/splashimages/. Some have argued
that the boot partition is usually to small to store these in there.
Regardless, even if the boot partition is large it just doesn't seem
proper to place the images there. If I move them to
/usr/share/grub/splashimages/ how can I handle this correctly for the
next release?

2. I'd like to prompt the user for a default splashimage to use. What
interface should I look at for this?

3. Once the user selects an image (if one is selected), I think the
package should cp the image to /boot/grub/default.xpm.gz. Any comments?
The reason behind the cp has to do with the fact that
(hd0,x)/usr/share/grub/foo.xpm.gz won't always be available and it may
be a bitch to deal with.

Thanks,

	Luis
