Hi,

my patch is now for some days in the BTS. What do you think about it? I
haven't heard any response yet...

I wrote the patch because it is needed for my netboot grub image used
for booting a debian system on a nfs root. My netboot grub image seems
to be unaware of the savedefault option, so calling update-grub without
this patch would change my /boot/menu.lst to un-bootable.
