vice-versa

Version: 0.97-20
Severity: normal
Hi,
update-grub creates entries with PAE hypervisors booting non-PAE
kernels and vice-versa (it lists all combinations).
I would have provided a patch except for two things:
- it's not clear to me whether /var/lib/linux-image-$v/xen-versions
should contain a x.y.z or x.y.z-pae for PAE Xen kernels (there's no
sample kernel to look at with both Xen and PAE)
- it seems to me that update-grub will also create entries for
non-Debian kernels and non-Debian hypervisors, and it's not clear to
me how to detect PAE Xen hypervisors in this case (looking at the
name only seems fragile)
Bye,
