Package: grub
Version: 0.97-1
Severity: minor

Hello,

I tried grub 0.97-1 from unstable yesterday. Before I had
0.95+cvs20040624-19 from Etch.

While trying out grub 0.97 (see bug # ) I ran update-grub
several times. It told me that is found splash image but
will use the previous default. Curious on what will happen
when I remove my previous setting I removed my previous
setting and tried again. But update-grub still insisted
that I have a previous default set.

Well later I found out why: It duplicated the splashimage
entry lots of times in the AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST and
I removed only my own entry before that AUTOMAGIC KERNELS
LIST.

Needless to say it shouldn't do that ;-)

Regards,
Martin
