Grub in Ubuntu Edgy and Intel Macs

I'm wondering if there is any chance of Grub being patched for the  
Ubuntu Edgy release to support the Intel Macs.

I don't know if this is conceivable, but it would sure be nice to  
have the Intel Macs supported by an Ubuntu install without any tweaking.
