Robert already ported it to grub2 and it's working nice. He's also
working at upstream side to try to reduce the number of things we need
to deal by ourselfs at update-grub (like conversion between device
names and grub syntax and like) and he has a great sucess on it so
would be good to work to have it done and move to it after etch is
out.
