Migration from grub 1 was simple and painless.  On the first reboot,
grub1 was still installed, but defaulted to chainloading grub2.  It
booted fine without intervention.  Running "grub-install /dev/hda"
caused it to boot directly with grub2 the second time.

I'm using Debian/Sid on AMD64 with an ATA disk with a /boot partition
and a root volume under an LVM partition.
