Bug#393079: update-grub: configurable generation of savedefault entries

Hi,

I'd really like to see this patch added, too.
Sometimes I have problems with the savedefault entry (which I actually
don't need since I don't use "default saved") when resuming from disk:
* the hard disk state is somehow flagged as inconsistent (because / was
not flushed/synced/unmounted when suspending)
* grub refuses to write to the disk (that's OK) and stops
* I have to manually edit the boot command (delete the savedefault line)
* grub now boots just fine, machine resumes properly and does not care
about the "inconsistent disk state during boot"

So having an option in the automagic kernel section that prevents
update-grub from generating these line in the first place would be great
(even if it's disabled by default to not change the behaviour of feature
frozen old grub).
