Bug#419766: Grub fails to boot kernel on Dell OptiPlex 320 PCs

I have a Dell OptiPlex 320n and I did some testing with grub-pc.

After installing grub-pc I ran grub-install, which worked, and then
rebooted. I was greeted by the grub prompt and was able to load my
kernel and initrd and boot the system. So grub-pc does work on the 320.

I then ran update-grub which made a /boot/grub/grub.cfg for me with all
of my kernels. When I rebooted I got stuck in a reboot loop. I would
see the reverse video "Welcome to GRUB" message in the upper left corner
then the system would reboot immediately. I used a rescue disk to
comment out all of the font gfxterm and I was able to boot after that.

#font (hd0,6)/usr/share/grub/unifont.pff
#set gfxmode=640x480
#insmod gfxterm
#insmod vbe
#terminal gfxterm
