I didn't want to repeat myself as I had already explained my test in the
previous mail, and the second mail was just to say "the same applies for

The problem is not about the filesystem itself, it's not even about grub
reading the kernel from reiserfs, it's only about grub failing to
install at the beginning of a partition that was formatted using
reiserfs. But the filesystem still works fine if I mount it.
