For lenny I'd say that too.
It's for almost everyone probable be better with that dpkg way now.
It's just not 100% perfect, but we can discuss this for post lenny is if
we should make it more perfect.
I still don't understand it anyway why people have many different
kernels in /boot/
(e.g. the guy who reported the problem with the big grub.cfg)
