Please, can you apply attached patch (against latest grub2), and try the
commands:
grub-probe -t device /boot
grub-probe -t drive /boot
grub-probe -t fs /boot
For each command, if it works tell me the output, if it doesn't re-run with
-v (verbose) and send me the whole log.
