We're trying to get GRUB 2 in a state that can replace GRUB completely.
Lots of progress has been made, but we're still not there.

In the meantime, GRUB Legacy is mostly left in the cold.

So yes, some help would be useful.  But I don't think it's worth to spend
a lot of effort on GRUB Legacy since it's going to be replaced soon.
