Yes, for me the issue is still there.

	thoemy:/root # grub-probe -t fs /
	grub-probe: error: unknown device thoemy--vg-root

But it won't prevent me from using Grub2 because my /boot is not within
the LVM. I don't even know anymore why I encountered this in the first
place :).
