Please provide it as a standalone patch.  A diffed diff is barely readable.

Also, please consider working with upstream to get this support in GRUB 2
instead.  We had our batch of trouble with this savedefault hack already,
and having to support it in Debian for GRUB Legacy only makes it harder.
