Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.96+20080228-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
grub-pc's update-grub seems to hardcode two entries per found kernel
version: one "real", and one "single".
grub-legacy, otoh, has been supporting "altoptions" for ages, where
one could add arbitrary additional grub lines per kernel image, which
I frequently use to add options to boot into different runlevels
(where lesser services are started, for example) or to invoke a serial
console.
This doesn't seem to be possible with grub-pc, which is kind of a show
stopper for me.
Greetings
Marc
