Bug#524463: grub fails to boot if an usb mouse is plugged during the 5s of menu

This is 100% reproducible on my laptop.
If i plug my usb mouse during the grub menu, then
it only display the first line of boot process:
booting kernel xyz
and nothing happens, reboot with CTRL-ALT-DEL is needed.
