Bug#560425: grub 0.97 doesn't work well on Panasonic CF-L2

Hello,

I installed Debian Lenny from debian-503-i386-CD-1.iso to three PCs.
PCs are Panasonic CF-L2P8W2S(PhoenixBIOS V2.00L11B).

Two PCs is installed grub, they hang up when they boot.
But one PC is installed lilo, it can boot.

BIOS(Flatpad=>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Speaker=>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Device Configuration=>BIOS) : NG
BIOS(Device Configuration=>OS) : NG
BIOS(Serial Port=>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Parallel Port=>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Boot Password=>ON) : NG
BIOS(Boot Password=>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Proccessor Serial Number =>OFF) : NG
BIOS(Proccessor Serial Number =>ON) : NG

Booting Windows 2000 Proffefional with ntloader : OK
Booting Windows XP Proffefional with ntloader : OK
Booting Caldera Dos : OK
Booting Debian Installer with pxelinux.0 : OK
Booting Debian Installer with isolinux : Probabry OK
Booting Debian with lilo : OK



And my noticed point is here.

When I see grub screen, PC's system fan begins to rotates heavily.
