Hi,

I'm willing to look into this, but the patch is not right.  In fact, it was
never intended to support _booting_ from a GPT label, only accessing them
from GRUB.  It only works for booting mostly by chance (when I discussed
this with Marco -the author of the patch- a while ago he didn't even know
it was being used this way).

Unfortunately I'm swamped with work right now, but I'll have time to dedicate
to this and other issues before the end of this month.
