Hi, with the 20090317 release of grub*, I can boot fine with a /boot
within the first 1024 cylinders (/dev/hda1), and / on higher cylinder
numbers (/dev/hda7).

With the 20090523 release of grub, I can boot fine if I remove the
search line from /boot/grub/grub.cfg, I can boot fine with /boot on the
first 1024 cylinders, and / on higher cylinder numbers.

With the 20090523 release of grub, if I run the set command at the grub
prompt, I get:

prefix = (hd0,7)/boot/grub

where it should be:

prefix = (hd0,1)/grub

Regards,

Arthur Marsh.
