Bug#545153: grub-pc: please allow "as-is" entries somehow in /etc/grub.d/

Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.97~beta2-2
Severity: normal

Currently adding a custom entry to grub.cfg it seems that I have to
write a shell script that does nothing else but echoing to stdout
some static entry.

That is a pain. Normally .d directories should contain config snippets,
or at least allow for config snippets, not for shell scripts generating
thos snips.

Thanks
