My system has /boot as seperate partition with boot images in /boot/<image> and grub in /boot/grub.
This was working normally until a recent update where the function make_system_path_relative_to_its_root in /usr/lib/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib turns /boot to / resulting in a boot image path like: linux //vmlinux-previous root=/dev/md2 ro video=vesafb:mtrr:3,ywrap,1280x1024-32 at 60 vga=0x318. (Note the //).
To ensure my system boot correctly I have to manually update the /boot/grub/grug.cfg file to have paths like linux /boot/vmlinux-previous root=/dev/md2 ro video=vesafb:mtrr:3,ywrap,1280x1024-32 at 60 vga=0x318
Thanks
