Hi, this bug can be closed, as grub-install now invokes grub-mkimage with -p "": $grub_mkimage -p "" -O ${target_cpu}-efi --output=${grubdir}/grub.efi $modules || exit 1 I tested it and it works fine. Regards, Tino
