Bug#590874: grub-pc: --help option and help command show help with missing whitespace

Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.98+20100722-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

The help command, and the --help option to various commands, now seems
to show broken help output that lacks newlines between options and
whitespace between an option and its help text.

For example, "cat --help" shows:

Usage: cat FILE
Show the contents of a file.

--dosAccept DOS-style CR/NL line endings.-h, --helpDisplay this help and
exit.-u, --usageDisplay the usage of this command and exit.

This bug does not occur in the upstream grub-1.98 release, but it does
occur with a current upstream snapshot from bzr, and it does occur with
the current version in Debian.
