Did you get this message again, and write it down? Could we have the
exact text? I can't find any text in GRUB that's similar to the message
you report, so it's hard to tell what's going on here.
Can you reproduce this behaviour with version 1.98-1, currently in
testing?
I'm going to downgrade this from release-critical to important in the
meantime, since it does seem to be fairly hardware-specific.
