os-prober mounting devices?

Hey grub-team,

after the last upgrade of grub-pc on squeeze I have some VM's reporting
corrupted file systems.

In the logs (attached) it looks like os-prober has mounted my virtual
machines' LVM-volumes, which were at the time also mounted whithin the
virtual machines. I suspect that this mounting caused the corruptions.

Is that possible?
