Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.98+20100804-13
Package: linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64
Version: 2.6.32-30
I noticed that waiting for 1mn before booting after grub menu (editing
an entry for instance), makes it more likely to boot success.
I do not know whether this is grub or the initrd, but I have another
kernel booting without problem. This kernel resides on a standard
partition. I have the problem with a kernel on a lvm partition on top of
a soft (linux) raid.
