Bug#549905: grub seeks the floppy at boot time

Hi,

I am having the same problem: One of my machines still has a floppy drive 
built-in, and each time it starts, grub is trying to access that drive. There 
is however no reason for grub to touch the floppy drive, and this delays boot 
by almost a second, until grub figures out there's no floppy in there.

Are there any estimates when the upstream fix will land in Debian?
