Bug#704493: GRUB_TERMINAL=console gets remembered?

I'm worried that after using
GRUB_TERMINAL=console
it somehow gets remembered,
so that even uncommenting it later will not reverse its action,
despite running

update-grub; grub-install /dev/sda

and one needs an "antidote" line to reverse its effects.
Therefore the comments next to
#GRUB_TERMINAL=console
need to mention this problem.
