I think this should be closed. Btw there is a bug in the latests HP Proliant G8 BIOS. If there is no one active/boot flaged partition, server refuse to boot from that disk, even with grub in MBR. To boot you must flag some partition as bootable (swap for example...). It will be fixed in next BIOS versions. Regards JK
