Sorry for the delayed reply.  Did you do anything special when you
installed this system to put the boot loader in place?  Could you post
the output of:

  find /boot/efi -ls

> If I again upgrade to current TESTING version, the problem reccurs.

To be clear, do you mean that version 2.00-22 exhibits the same problem?
