Bug#760997: /usr/sbin/grub-install: unicode.pf2 is installed twice in /boot, wasting space
Zack Weinberg
zackw at panix.com
Tue Sep 9 18:44:30 UTC 2014
Package: grub2-common
Version: 2.02~beta2-11
Severity: normal
File: /usr/sbin/grub-install
Installing GRUB with the graphical terminal enabled causes unicode.pf2 to
be installed in both /boot/grub and /boot/grub/fonts. This is a large file
(2.3MB) so having two copies of it may be the difference between having enough
space, and *not* having enough space, in a tiny /boot partition.
