Hello,
I've upgraded to jessie, strictly following the upgrade instructions.
The apt-get did all the work (and the only interruption during the
procedure having had to do with uninstalling nvidia mon-free drivers).

My situation regarding _booting_ is almost the same as before, the only
difference being of purely aesthetic value: the new debian, with new 8.0
background graphics in grub (this stage is still accessible only after
<F12> had been pressed upon power-on, and the item 'debian' selected).

In order to keep the playground clear, I haven't yet tried to do
anything by hand, neither efibootmgr stuff, nor grub-install stuff.

Please tell me if I should try again the same commands and captures as
before, or tell me what else I can do to help find out what's going on.

I have kept the script recordings made during upgrade; I'll upload the
files if there's any need to it.

Regards,
  Darki

Hit "Process" and get a coffee. Depending on the number of files [...]
to process this might take a long time, so one coffee might not be
enough. In this case, get a sixpack beer instead.
