Bug#782591: grub2 cannot be installed on a disk which is in a RAID1 lvm

Hello. 
Has this patch or support been integrated in the Sid version? 
If it did, can I safely install the Sid packages in Jessie? 
Or could some maintainer backport the Sid packages to Jessie Backports?
