Bug#826516: grub-probe: double free or corruption in special case (fixed upstream)

Package: grub-common
Version: 2.02~beta2-22+deb8u1

In some special cases grub-probe fails with "double free or corruption
(fasttop)".

My HDD layout looked like that:
4 HDDs, GPT:
1) 1MB bios_boot
2) MD RAID1 (spanning all 4 HDDs), /boot, ext4
3) MD RAID1 (spanning 2x2 HDDs), PVs for LVM (stripped LVs)

grub-install crashed during Debian installation, preventing a successfull
Debian installation, but it's really grub-probe causing the problem.
The same setup using MSDOS partitioning scheme works without problems.

It's actually fixed upstream:
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?41582

Fixed in Ubuntu as well:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1330963

Hope that's enough information.

Best regards,
Markus
