Growth trend on grub

Dear Maintainers,

I am writing to enquire about a size growth trend on grub’s first stage and
how it behaves under the current memory usage constraints.
I would like to know if you have noticed this growth trend and if you plan
to remove any module in order to reduce grub’s generated size?
I noticed that the CORE OS team decided to remove boot floppy in order to
support TPM, I wonder if this what we should do as well.

Can anyone help me?

Best regards.
