While I agree that that's slow, I'd prefer it if you gave me the thing I
asked for if at all possible, since you were also complaining about lack
of caching. I can always select out the bit that I need to look at, but
it's harder if I don't have the information to start with.
After all, if it's just a matter of vgs being slow, then this isn't a
GRUB bug at all, no?
