Package: grub-efi-arm64
Version: 2.02+dfsg1-18
Severity: normal

I use U-Boot v2018.07-rc1 on a MACCHIATObin.

The UEFI shell reports these block devices and partitions:

FS4: Alias(s):HD0b:;BLK7:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/SD(1)/SD(2)/HD(1,MBR,0x477bc392,0x2000,0x200000)
FS5: Alias(s):HD0c:;BLK8:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/SD(1)/SD(2)/HD(2,MBR,0x477bc392,0x202000,0x200000)
FS6: Alias(s):HD0d:;BLK9:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/SD(1)/SD(2)/HD(3,MBR,0x477bc392,0x402000,0x379e000)
FS0: Alias(s):HD0b0b:;BLK2:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/Scsi(1,0)/HD(1,MBR,0x378e54c5,0x8000,0x38000)
FS1: Alias(s):HD0b0c:;BLK3:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/Scsi(1,0)/HD(2,MBR,0x378e54c5,0x40000,0xc0000)
FS2: Alias(s):HD0b0d:;BLK4:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/Scsi(1,0)/HD(3,MBR,0x378e54c5,0x100000,0xed7c2b0)
FS3: Alias(s):HD0b0e:;BLK5:
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/Scsi(1,0)/HD(4,MBR,0x378e54c5,0x800,0x7800)
BLK0: Alias(s):
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/eMMC(0)/eMMC(1)
BLK6: Alias(s):
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/SD(1)/SD(2)
BLK1: Alias(s):
/VenHw(e61d73b9-..)/Scsi(1,0)

grubaa64.efi is located on Scsi(1,0)/HD(2,..).
GRUB modules are on Scsi(1,0)/HD(3,..).

Booting fails. The GRUB rescue console reports:

grub> ls
(proc) (hd0) (hd1) (hd1,msdos3) (hd1,msdos2) (hd1,msdos1) (hd2)

So booting fails GRUB because it does not see the partitions on my harddisk.

GRUB should report existing partitions on all devices, especially the
one it is loaded from.

Best regards

Heinrich
