Then this probable is a case of not installed and not (by default)
enabled os-prober.

So install os-prober if it's not already.

And in /etc/default/grub

GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false

And last

sudo update-grub

os-prober won't be enabled by default anymore.
