S‌ure, but why not add a dependency so that removing grub-common also removes the rest, without displaying incomprehensible error message?

 

Moreover, trying to remove grub-efi-amd64-signed (apt remove grub-efi-amd64-signed) ends with another error message, saying that "Removing essential system-critical packages is not permitted. This might break the system."
