Wouter,
could you possibly test if the issue remains even with the new package
in unstable? I'm gonna try to figure it out tonight on my iPod Mini, as
it could be a encoder-related problem and an upgrade since 2009 could
have done the trick.

Let me know. In case it's ok now, please close this bug report or let me
know to do so.
