Package: gtkpod
Version: 2.1.2-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
If I try installing the gtkpod package from experimental I get
the following.
$ sudo aptitude install gtkpod=2.1.3-1 libatomicparsley0=2.1.3-1
gtkpod-data=2.1.3-1 libgtkpod1=2.1.3-1The following NEW packages will
be installed:
libcogl-pango0{a} libcogl9{a}
The following packages will be upgraded:
gtkpod gtkpod-data libatomicparsley0 libgtkpod1
4 packages upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 2,803 kB of archives. After unpacking 921 kB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libclutter-1.0-0 : Breaks: libcogl9 but 1.10.2-7 is to be installed.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Remove the following packages:
1) gtkpod
2) libatomicparsley0
3) libgtkpod1
Keep the following packages at their current version:
4) libcogl-pango0 [Not Installed]
5) libcogl9 [Not Installed]
Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?] q
Abandoning all efforts to resolve these dependencies.
Abort.
Now libclutter-1.0-0 which released on experimental shows this in it's
changelog :-
clutter-1.0 (1.14.0-1) experimental; urgency=low
[ Emilio Pozuelo Monfort ]
* New upstream release.
+ debian/control.in:
- Bump build dependencies.
[ Sjoerd Simons ]
* debian/control.in: Add Breaks on libcogl9 and libcogl11, all rdepends of
libcogl{9,11} also use clutter. But loading two different libcogl versions
into one applications causes little explosions.. Hence adding a breaks.
