My understanding of the licensing of haskell-datetime is this: the real
license declaration is the line in datetime.cabal

license:             GPL

In all the versions of the GPL license it is explicitly said that not
specifying the version means that every version is good. According to
this, the debian/copyright says just GPL, without any version
specification, meaning the same thing.

The COPYING file, just as the link to the GPL-2 in debian/copyright, are
meant just as examples.

Anyway, if you prefer, I'll fix this link in the next version.
