This is probably the same as a problem I encountered in Ubuntu; ghc's
handling of linker scripts isn't particularly complete and doesn't cover
this case.

My patch, which was backported from upstream, is at [0]. I didn't send
it to Debian because we didn't seem to be affected here, and because the
fixes are in 7.2.1 (exp).
