Ah, yes.  Good idea!

That is IMO an _elegant_ short-term workaround: Doable as simple Debian 
packaging update to address the current RC bug about lack of source.

@Joachim: If you could find time for doing that, I'd much appreciate it.

Upgrading to newer upstream Pandoc release is less urgent for Haskell in 
general, right?  It is still high on my TODO list, I just still work on 
uwsgi package that I want done first. (to me xmas means time to hack, 
not time away from hacking, so there is hope...)
