Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Tried to use XMonad with Gnome.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Selected it as session type and logged in.  My config is based on
XMonad.Config.Gnome.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

XMonad starts but never registers itself with Gnome, and after a
timeout Gnome kills it and I get an error screen.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

XMonad registers itself with Gnome.
