[Pkg-haskell-maintainers] Bug#774881: Bug#774881: package haskell-ieee754 is causing FTBFS of package haskell-hastache on big-endian

I would like to have this fixed in jessie, If possible.
Back-ported upstream patch is attached (with comments from upstream source).
